Pain so deep I cannot speak

Nauseous by this unwanted grief

Try to mutter a word but it hurts so deep

I’m mute

Incapacitated by the reality of your no longer presence

My body longs for you like a mom does her stillborn baby

It hasn’t caught up with the truth that you are gone

Eagerly awaits for you to still come home

Calling a number that no longer shares your voice

Is this true?

Yearning for the intimacy we once shared

Stillness crept in by the truth

It’s so loud she cannot speak

This is the pain of my grief
